2008 Melbourne International Film Festival

The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest, most successful film festival in Australia and the largest and longest running film event in the Asia Pacific, and screens more than 400 films from over 50 countries to an audience of almost 180,000. Dungog Film Festival

Australia’s newest cultural event, the Dungog Film Festival was founded this last to celebrate Australian cinema in an non-competitive environment, to strengthen the bonds within the film community and to create a context for contemporary Australian films. MeccaMedialight was there to help launch this exciting new festival in 2007, and continues to support the festival in 2008.   More
